Thank you to the people of Netherland!

In South Africa farmers get killed on a daily basis! The world is turning a blind eye as to what is going on in South Africa. Luckily, ONE country is NOT turning a blind eye. Holland! Thank you to Holland, our "mother country" for supporting the white farmers of South Africa by doing something about it! This image-screenshot is from the website here. Please click HERE to see the original page. If you don't understand Dutch, you can use google-translator. These news headlines in blue are ALL about the killings. [look at the dates too] South Africa is on the slippery road due to our government. This is SAD, but true. We've thought that our country would become [under the new government] a fantastic place to live, but unfortunately, it's not the case after how many years since 1994. These killers feel nothing for children, elderly people and even women. If you're one of those turning a blind eye to everything, then you can do at least something and that is to pray that all people are save tonight when YOU go to bed.

Chess game 26

In this game I played black against arturo1113 on the chess site where the game was played.
This was really a tough game....one of those challenging games. If you play through the game you will see why. Luckily...as always... I had a Knight-to-the-rescue. I will even sacrifice a Rook just to have my Knight! Exactly like in real life... that's why Knights are there! hehehe... look at move 80! Fork! and from there one...it was really easy. If you play through the game, you will see why my opponent named this game after this nursery rhyme - ring-a-ring-a-rosie... See if you can work out why I couldn't really move away from that advanced Pawn of my opponent...He resigned this game at the end. Enjoy playing through the game.

Beethoven's 5th

When I was at Secondary School, we had a mass gymnastics display for the visiting minister of Education and Beethoven's Pastoral Symphony 5th Movement was the music our teachers selected for the display! What a wonderful time it was! This was also on my music menu for Saturday mornings when I did my school homework. On the verandah - with the large old oak trees a few metres away...all the farm-sounds...circled by mountains....and the echo of a running river not very far away...geeee...this is life!

In this next track you can listen to Waldo de los Rios playing the same piece of music, of course [for me] better than the orchestra in this video! I'm a lover of Waldo de los Rios! This is only a taster, but quite a bit to enjoy!

On THIS LINK you can follow a few blog-links with the music-link of Waldo de los Rios. The link will open in a new window.
