Fires in Greece

I'm glad that they could save the old! View the pictures on Reuters' site....where firefighters battled a blaze inside an archaeological stadium in ancient Olympia in south Peloponnese, about 217 miles from Athens on Sunday.... for pictures...click on this link...

Fires in SA during August

During the last week in July/first week in August, South Africa struggled with fires all over the country, plantations in the Eastern province, Mpumalanga, were really badly affected! I took pictures which I will upload here, but on the pictures it doesn't look that bad as when you see it for real! Read thisarticle....sad that even some of the firemen lost their lives!

Table Mountain in flames

It has happened that people are careless when visiting the mountain...two or three years ago it was apparently a British guy who started a fire...This pic was sent to me by email.
