WELL DONE!! SOUTH AFRICA!!! AGAIN!!!
Ek het natuurlik die wedstryd weer op TV gekyk, maar ai, die spanning!! Hierdie Fijiane is blokke van manne, hulle eet seker meer as net mieliepap daar anderkant! My senuwees was natuurlik gedaan en toe dit nou sommer 20-20 is, toe breek my moed en met 23-20 het ek omtrent nie verder gekyk nie, ek wou nie sien hoe Suid-Afrika begrawe word nie, dit sal darem te erg wees. Maar later weer gekyk....kan ook nie wegbly nie, moet darem my land ondersteun! Sjoe! Dit was darem hittette...ek is net vrek bly ons is deur....ek glo die paadjie nou is sommer maklik, maar Suid-Afrika moet net nie nou op hul loure gaan sit en dink...hulle kan gerus wees nie...hierdie Franse en Engelse is bietjie skuilie, ek dink hulle steek iets weg....

France - Australia is looking at unearthing more young South Africans like Dan Vickerman and Clyde Rathbone in the build-up to the next Rugby World Cup in 2011, according to reports.
Newly-appointed Australian Rugby Union high performance manager Pat Howard has arrived at the World Cup in France to examine what countries and what systems are producing the best results.
Australia has had great success poaching young Springboks into its ranks, with lock Vickerman a member of the current national squad and outside back Rathbone forced out of World Cup selection reckoning through injury.
"It's a matter of looking at how we, with our very small player base, stay up there at the top end," Howard told Australian media on Friday.
"If we leave it to luck, you might get the Argentine model occasionally coming through, but it's not a consistent model."

South Africa win thriller against Tonga
WELL DONE BOKKE, AGAIN!!! GO FOR IT!!!
LENS, 22 September -
South Africa will finish top of Pool A after defeating a determined Tonga 30-25 in a thrilling match at Stade Felix-Bollaert in Lens on Saturday.
Tonga gave a second-string South Africa an almighty scare before the Springboks clicked into gear to post a four-tries-to-three victory in front of a sell-out crowd.
South Africa will play their quarter-final against the runner-up of Pool B in Marseille on 7 October.
A disjointed Springboks trailed 10-7 early in the second half before Francois Steyn levelled the gripping encounter with a 54th minute penalty goal.
An enthusiastic Tonga showed plenty of grit and determination against South Africa, ranked number three in the world, and a major upset looked on the cards.
But the Springboks piled on 20 unanswered points in a devastating 15-minute period in the second half to seemingly bury Tonga's hopes.
However, the Pacific Islanders never gave up and scored tries through Sukanaivalu Hufanga and Viliami Vaki to set up a thrilling finish as they bridged the deficit to 27-22 with eight minutes remaining.
Pierre Hola kicked a penalty in the dying stages to bring Tonga within five points.
Both sides were reduced to 14 men from the 63rd minute when referee Wayne Barnes sent Steyn and Tonga wing Joseph Vaka to the sin bin for fighting.
Barnes also yellow-carded Springbok wing Bryan Habana with 11 minutes remaining, leaving South Africa two men short.
The crowd fell silent in the 50th minute when Springboks flanker Danie Rossouw was stretchered off the field with his neck in a brace.
South Africa held a 7-3 halftime lead which could have been greater but fly half Andre Pretorius missed three penalty goal attempts and another in the 48th minute.

Metro newspaper reports about the England team....click on the article for a larger image....and...I do think it is unfair that Schalk Burger might be suspended due to what happened in the match against Samoa....he really had no intention to harm anyone and he was going for the ball! When he came down, he hit him accidently...one could see ....

These pics about the Boks come from a site...closed it before I could blog the link! But the bok at the bottom...surely not from the same site! :) This impala, is called a Springbok! ...for people not knowing it...and for people not knowing...South Africa beat Samoa with 59-7. England is next...so let's hope the best for the Boks!

Springbok
Replacing the Springbok! Well, I've decided that I don't care anymore. I LOVE the Springbok and it represents everything that is pride and strength. But, ....if you know what's going on in SA rugby ..........and even more in the future...I wouldn't want to call the "Springboks" a Springbok anymore...If I listen how they go about to choose players for our National Team...well...the best players are not always playing and even in the future, players who deserve to play, will just be left out because.....and I don't have to explain that in sooooooo many words...obvious reasons in our country! So....do know why they will not be the "Springboks" like "before"...what a pity...I was also voting for the Springbok to stay! Just look at the animal! What a beautiful animal...how can you deny that this animal is everything that a team can ask for....you feel proud when just looking at it............. I can just imagine how any sportsman/woman must feel when you got chosen for the Springbok Team of any sport! The government can now even replace it with a pig, I won't care....the world will laugh at us anyway, no matter what animal/flower they replace it with! Wonder why so many players leave the country to play in other parts of the world? Don't ask...you know the answer....
Bob Skinstad, named to lead the Springboks for the 11th time when they meet the Wallabies on Saturday, will continue his career with French club Perpignan after the World Cup with fellow South Africans Percy Montgomery, Gerrie Brits and Phillip Burger.The French club on Thursday confirmed on their website that Skinstad will join fullback Montgomery at the club next season.

Balletjie
For any Afrikaans speaking people reading this: (English speaking people....it is just a simple non-stop "song" about a ball! really silly....hahaa..we always sang it during the athletic/rugby season...great times....."balletjie" is the diminutive form of "ball"....some nouns get a "tjie" to show the diminutive form ...and in this case...ball which is "bal" in Afrikaans...get "e-tjie" because of the "l" on the end...tricky hey...LOL!
