Stressed out!
I think we are all a bit stressed out at school! hahaha...it is a typical sign of end-of-year...so much going on...actually ...too much...i think i'm getting fed-up, because i can't do in my class what i really want to do...and that is to have a bit of FUN!
Our PPA for the afternoon was cancelled...and i couldn't have the fun in the afternoon which i planned, because the leavers' practise took place later...so we were kind of waiting to be called....and nobody called at the time they were supposed to call us....only much later...what a waste...but...we didn't mind really, because we finished off our memory booklets.
Tomorrow another busy day, we have to practise our presentation for Wednesday in the Tower! And i plan an ICT project, to use PAINT.NET and to create our own pictures in the style of Hockney.... today's Seurat was a total lost with the "waiting.." What a shame, so much good time going lost... but anyway...there is always something else that needs to be done...and i think i'm still in a red mood!

This is a view in the Drakensberg Mountains in South Africa! Beautiful!!

And...I'm in a purple mood too! That is close enough to red...lol!
This is a street in Pretoria! In Spring,,,,,,October, the city is covered in Jacaranda blossoms.....that is the time when students write exams...and fall in love!
Pretoria is also called the "Jacaranda city"... because of all the Jacaranda trees in the streets...really a beautiful scene during October/November.
And I have now a new mouse, it seems to me that the other one was the cause of all my problems on the chess site!

Hmmm...i like these purple colours...my favourite colour!

And Red,...another favourite colour...

Barons Court
This is Earl's Court Station...Earl!

Barons Court Station....think the Baron will like to stop here next year when coming to London, to have a drink at a pub! ....should tell him about this station...! This station is just before Earl's Court! Think the Earl would like the name of that station! He and the Baron might like to travel together on the Piccadilly line from Heathrow! :))

Loung Ung
First they killed my Father, by Loung Ung
Luong was born into a wealthy family of nine in the Cambodian capital of Phnom Pen. As her father is employed in the city as a military police captain and is a supporter of the former Lon Nol government both he and his family risk being captured and killed by the Extreme communist Khmer Rouge if his identity is found out. The Khmer Rouge wants to turn Cambodia into an agrarian nation free of the 'western poison' of capitalism. To make this dream a reality they begin to kill anyone who isn't 'pure' Khmer and all those who indulge in western culture and learning. Luong's father moves his family to the countryside where the Khmer Rouge places them into a work camp. The father attempts to keep his origins a secret so his family can survive. Every member of the family works hard and speaks to no-one so that they will become worthy citizens in the eyes of the angkar. The Book moves at a steady pace and the reader is kept interested throughout because of the author's uncomplicated writing style. Luong's changing emotions are vividly articulated drawing the reader in and allowing them to understand her plight and also her great triumph at the end when she beats all the odds and finally achieves her freedom.

Wales
On our way back from Aber, we planned our journey especially to go through this town! It is a town full of bookshops! Unbelievable! This first photo, is a bookshop in the open, but secondhand books....and they trust you to leave the money in that box! That was funny....
Read also my other post about the visit in Wales!

Aberystwyth
In 2004 we visited friends of us in Aber. Aber is short for Aberystwyth. Pieter and Leone came to the UK in 2002 and we met them in Sutton, where we used to live when we came the first time to the UK. Leone is an ex-teacher, retired, but an artist and she is just amazing. Some of her art works are to be seen in Embassies! They are two lovely friends and spent a lot of time showing us around in Aber and nearby places.
These pics are from a castle in Aber. Follow the weblink to read more. The dog was funny...we stopped to buy something on the A438 route and he was sitting, very patiently, in the van waiting for his master!

Aberystwyth is in West Wales.

Table Mountain cable car
To go up Table Mountain is really an experience! Very exciting and amazing views...but at one point...in that cable car, it's a bit scary...more than scary....you come so close to the mountain! But, it's worth going, the scenery is awesome! Any person going to Cape Town and not going up the mountain, hasn't been to Cape Town! You have to have the "mountain experience" before you can say you've been to Cape Town!
