It's a Volkspelerok not a freaking frilly dress. And the boys wear Volkspeledrag not aoutfits to match the girls' frilly dresses. Get your terms straight before you post something.

symbolism ...from the Voortrekkers..it was hot...and the "hoods" for the sun...to protect their faces...
steps...that i can't help you with...i have to demonstrate it! If i can advise you...search the internet...and try this site...
