I've been learning about Ancient Greece and Italy for many years now and hope to visit Rome and its environs within the next 14 months. It seems to involve a personal connectedness which transcends mere academic interest.......too bad about all those fires rampaging throughout Greece these days; the arsonists involved ought to be banished for the remainder of their miserable spans to the Australian Outback where they can set all the damn fires they please while they bake in the burning sub-tropical sun, ho,ho,ho.
